About

Eleisha is a Registered Psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has over 15 years of counselling experience working with adolescents, adults and couples. Eleisha is an inclusive psychologist and has experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and people from the LGBTQIA+ community.

Eleisha works with clients that present with a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, stress management, addiction and anger management.

Eleisha is passionate about working with couples and offers relationship counselling at Sutherland Psychology. She is focused on assisting couples to improve their relationship and communication skills, assisting them to clarify uncertainty about their relationships and to work through conflict or betrayal. Eleisha welcomes couples of all sexualities.

When working with individuals, Eleisha has a special interest in helping clients manage anxiety and stress. She enjoys working with adolescents who experience school and exam pressures and with adults navigating the challenges of parenting.

Eleisha is trained in various therapeutic techniques and utilises these to assist clients to better their lives. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has also completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses this when working with couples. Eleisha believes in tailoring sessions to meet individual needs.

Eleisha quickly and easily builds rapport with clients and has a genuine passion for helping others and assisting them to get the most out of their lives.

Availability

Eleisha is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She offers both face to face and Telehealth appointments. She also offers after hours appointments on Wednesdays.

Eleisha is a registered provider for Better Access (Medicare), PSS and NDIS participants.
