About

Bronwyn is a Registered Psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society, with extensive experience in psychological assessment and therapy. She works with children, teens and adults across a broad range of emotional and behavioural issues. Bronwyn uses Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Brief Solution-Focussed Therapy to meet individual client needs.

Bronwyn enjoys working with children and teens to help them regulate their emotions and behaviour, support them through family and friendship issues and with school/exam stress. Bronwyn has a special interest in neurodivergence—Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)—and enjoys working with this client group to help them achieve their goals.

Bronwyn also offers intellectual assessments to determine a child’s cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty. These assessments evaluate intellectual ability, helping to identify giftedness or learning difficulties and to measure cognitive abilities such as mental processing speed, long and short term memory, and attention functioning. This type of evaluation is invaluable in developing targeted teaching and classroom strategies that cater for a child’s individual learning needs. Cognitive assessments can also measure academic achievement to determine whether a child has achieved age or grade appropriate skills in reading, writing, mathematics and oral language.
